The extent of the hope we are able to sustain in this troubled world is based on the depth of our understanding of the Love of the Father, the Voice of the Spirit, and the Power of Jesus. Our church is called is to increase your connection to all three.
Something is lacking when folks attend church week after week but return home exactly the same. Relevant and effective ministry ─ both corporate & personal ─ inspires excitement and blessing, and changes lives. This foundationally motivates our ministers.
Christianity is built on the premise that truth is absolute and the teachings of the Bible are universal. While many churches fail to post their specific beliefs, churches are actually called to "be not to ashamed of the gospel of Christ" (Romans 1:16).
Love truly does make the world go around, and we all need plenty of it. Jesus calls us to love without boundary, criteria or limit. Doing so demands we celebrate rather than tolerate each other, let go of assumptions & strongholds, and enrich our fellowship.
From the beginning, 22 years ago, we started an extraordinary tradition at Spirit of Hope. Today, we continue this sacrifice by designating ALL offerings on third Sundays (unless otherwise designated) to outreaches that make a difference!
We are to be about building the Kingdom of God, rather than building our own churchempires. Spirit of Hope refuses to engage in manipulation in order to increase our coffers or solicit false awe. God will do the building; and the Spirit provoke the awing.
Starting Jan 3, Pastor Frank began leading us in a focus on prayer. Spirit of Hope has always been a praying church, but there are questions surrounding 1) God's sovereignty and the need for prayer 2) how to approach God and 3) how to get results from prayer that should be visited. Please join us for this enlightening and inspiring series!
Meals are served on 4th Sundays. During the pandemic, we miss this time of fellowship and food, and are anxious for it to resume!
Prior to the pandemic, we met in the Lakewood Ballroom in Clements Center Sundays at 10am. Pictured here is a baby dedication.
